Please understand that no two dogs are the same and each dog/puppy learns at their own pace. we take the time to help your puppy accomplish these goals but keep in mind some puppies take longer then others. and some are very quick to learn. So please remember these are our goals, However some puppies take more time then others. We will defiantly keep you updated on your puppies progress as training proceeds.

- 1 week:
- (each puppy will learn at its own pace but these are our goal is)
- "Quiet" in the crate (puppies often bark nonstop when they are first introduced to the crate making it tough to tell "why" it is barking so you won't know when it actually has to potty) Some puppies are more vocal than others so some puppies accomplish this in a week where other puppies may take 6 weeks. We make a valiant effort to get them to be quiet. ;)
- "No Potty" in the crate/bed. INTRODUCED but not solidified.(puppies can be frightened when first put into the crate and they will often mess their crate regularly starting up a terrible habit of going potty in the "bed" which will later translate to house.)
- "No fight" on the leash. (puppies that have never been on a leash before will often struggle, fight, and thrash to the point of suffocation if not watched and cared for properly)
- "Come" (introduce puppy to come to the word "come" or to the name of your choice)
- "Potty outside" command introduced
- "Sit" (introduction)

- 2 week objective:.
- Solidify: "Quiet" in the crate ("most" pups can acheive this in 2-6 weeks)
- Walk on a leash without thrashing
- Go potty outside "on a leash" (introduction)
- Come
- Sit with hand signals
- "Hold it" in the crate for 1-2 hours depending on the puppy

- 3 week objective:
- Continue with everything puppy has learned in weeks 1 and 2.
- "No Bite" (work on not allowing puppy to chew on the hands and feet of people)
- "People are boss" begining to establish the pack order.
- "No" command
- Continue crate training to where puppy can usually hold it 1-6 hours at night by this stage.
- "Come and Sit" to be pet and for treats
- Introduction to "Down" command

Hunting training
We require one month of basic training before we will do one month of hunt training.
First week of hunt training will include introduction to bird and or antler scent. Along with introduction of retrieving and staying.
Week 2 we will solidify the retrieve and following their nose. Along with staying and (if your pup shows instincts to point/set) point/set
Week 3 they will be good retrieving and staying staying and if your pup shows strong instincts for pointing we will be solidifying or introducing that as well
